ABOUT US

The Petroleum Engineering Student Association (PESA) is a vibrant Association of the Takoradi Technical University. The Association is the student’s representative body of the Oil and Natural Gas Engineering Department, constituting Petroleum Engineering Students, Processing Engineering students as well as Welding and Fabrication Engineering Students.

The birthing of this association became necessary following the inception of the Oil and Natural Gas Engineering Department, and the need to institute an appropriate body to channel the voices and grievances of students to the governing body of the Department. The Association has since then become the central decision making body of the Department on students’ behalf, contributing essentially to departmental decisions affecting the students’ body to safeguard the welfare of students academically, socially and spiritually.
